Earlier this year, OnePlus released their latest budget smartphone in the form of OnePlus Nord 2 (not to be confused with the Nord N200 for the US market). This is the second phone in the Nord series, originally launched last year, bringing OnePlus back to its budget roots.
In all respects, Nord 2 is a good phone, but it certainly lacks some of the features that high-end phones have. One of the features is wireless charging, which is a pity, because wireless charging is very convenient, but the good news is that by spending a few dollars on some third-party accessories, it is actually quite easy to give the Nord 2 wireless charging.
Wireless charging usually relies on coils to help transfer power from the charging pad to the phone. Since OnePlus Nord 2 does not have these coils, you will need a wireless charging adapter. These coils are basically the same as those you might find on other phones with wireless charging capabilities, but they are now located externally and connected to the phone through its USB-C port.
This means you can easily add or remove it at any time, so if you don’t need wireless charging, you can take it out and use USC-C for other purposes. This is its advantage as well as its disadvantage, because it will take up the USB-C port, so if you want to plug in a USB-C headset or other accessories, you must remove it before you can plug it in.

Remember, these are universal wireless chargers and charging adapters. This means that unlike high-end OnePlus phones such as the OnePlus 9 Pro that supports up to 50W wireless charging speeds, they will be much slower, so you may want to consider this.
